‘Ghorzah’ is Arabic for ‘stitch’. This book celebrates needlepoint stitching, travel and Islamic architecture. I take you to Morocco, Uzbekistan and the UAE, identifying motifs from stunning decorative tiled facades at significant sites, and showing you how I translate them into vibrant needlepoint art.
